FAQ
Answers to the questions we are frequently asked
What types of research do you recruit for?
We match members to participate in research studies and focus groups for a variety of products. Participation may involve completing an online survey, participating in a focus group, or evaluating products in a usability test. The ultimate goal in conducting the research is to help our clients define and design products so they meet the expectations of their intended users.
How do I qualify?
To qualify for studies, you must register with us, to be in our database, and meet the criteria for each specific project. Participation in studies is voluntary and will take place at an agreed upon time and date. We ask specific questions for each study, so please answer all questions truthfully. If a person does not qualify to participate in the study, the research sponsor is NOT obliged to compensate him or her.
How does it work?
When we conduct a focus group or research study, we extract potential participants from our database, contact them via phone or e-mail, and ask them questions to see if they qualify. If they do, they will be invited to participate at a time convenient for them.
How much will I be paid for participating in research?
Compensation for participation varies depending on the market, study topic, and length of the session. Typical compensation ranges from $100-$200 for just a 1 to 2 hour session!
How often can I participate in focus groups?
In general, you should participate in no more than one research study every six months. There may be exceptions if research topics are distinct and if you qualify. ATI will notify you of studies that you may qualify to participate in and we will track your participation.
